• Foreground Location: Accessed only while the app is actively running.
• We do not track your location in the background.

SparTank does not require account creation, and we do not collect or store any identifying personal data such as your name, email address, or phone number.

2. How We Use Your Information

The information mentioned above is strictly used to:

• Show your position on the map and find gas stations near you.
• Calculate real-time routes and distances to provide net fuel savings.

3. Third-Party Services

We use third-party APIs to deliver precise data. Your location data may be shared anonymously with these services solely to fulfill your requests:

• Tankerkönig API: Used strictly for fetching nearby gas station prices based on your coordinates. Tankerkönig Terms
• OSRM (Open Source Routing Machine): Used to calculate driving distances and routes. OSRM is an open-source service and does not store personal data.

We do not sell, rent, or trade any location or user data to third parties.

4. Security

The security of your data is important to us. All communication with third-party APIs (Tankerkönig and OSRM) relies on secure, encrypted HTTPS protocols. Because the app does not store personal data on a centralized server, your risk of a data breach is minimized.
